No, the graphic talks about “odds” but the numbers are all expressions of probability. Evidently the author doesn’t even know the difference. It’s not a good example of anything related to statistics or mathematics.

Interesting. I had not considered there to be any real difference between odds and probabilities. Aren’t 1:10 odds the same as a 10% (or 0.1) probability? And when you multiply two probabilities of 0.1, you still get a 0.01 probability, or odds of 1:100?
